CH-UICH-UI

Pricing

CH-UI Cloud plans — Free, Pro ($99/mo), and Enterprise. Flat per-org pricing, no per-seat surprises. Or self-host the open-source core for free.

CH-UI Cloud is the fastest way to give your team a real ClickHouse control plane — SQL editor, dashboards, pipelines, governance, and an AI copilot — with zero infrastructure to manage. Sign in, connect your cluster, and you're working in minutes. Prefer to run it yourself? The core is open source (Apache-2.0) and free.

Flat pricing, per organization. We don't charge per user — workspace access uses your ClickHouse's own users, so your team and end-users are never counted as billable seats.

*SSO and other Enterprise capabilities are on the roadmap — talk to us. Limits are enforced when you create resources; hitting one prompts an upgrade and never touches existing data. Upgrade, downgrade, or buy AI credits self-serve in the console (billing by Stripe); cancel anytime and keep Pro until the period ends.

Managed AI (Brain)

CH-UI Brain is an AI copilot that understands your schema and writes ClickHouse-idiomatic SQL. You can power it two ways:

  • Managed AI — we run the model for you (OpenRouter under the hood, e.g. GPT-4o-mini or Claude). Pro includes $4/month of usage; beyond that, buy prepaid credit packs ($6 → $5 of usage). No surprise bills — when the allowance runs out, it simply pauses. Free plans don't include managed AI.
  • Bring your own key — plug in your own OpenAI / OpenAI-compatible / Ollama provider on any plan. Your key, your cost, unmetered.

Admins choose the managed model and see live usage on the console AI page.

How limits work

  • Limits are enforced when you create resources. Hit a cap and you'll get a clear prompt to upgrade — nothing breaks, and existing data is never touched.
  • Connections count ClickHouse clusters linked to an org. Console members are people who can sign in to your console (manage the org, connections, billing) — your ClickHouse end-users are not counted and never charged.
  • Upgrades and downgrades are self-serve in the console (Stripe). Cancel anytime; you keep Pro until the period ends.

FAQ

Do you charge per user? No. Pricing is flat per organization. Workspace access uses your ClickHouse's own users, so neither your team nor your end-users are billed as seats.

Is there a free trial of Pro? Free is free forever. You can upgrade to Pro the moment you need higher limits, governance, or managed AI.

What happens if I downgrade? You keep your data. If you're over the Free limits, you simply can't create new items of that type until you're back under the cap.

Can I cap my AI spend? Yes — managed AI is hard-capped at your included budget plus any prepaid credits. It can't run away.

What's the difference for self-hosting? The open-source core runs on your own box with a local SQLite database — every feature unlocked, no license keys, free. Cloud exists so you don't operate the database, TLS, backups, upgrades, and managed AI. See Self-hosting and Licensing.
