The Pro license
The license is flat per instance — your whole team and all your ClickHouse users are covered, no seats. Activation is a signed file you upload in Settings; verification is local, so air-gapped deployments work. See Plans & Licensing for details.

FAQ
Do you charge per user? No. The Pro license is flat per instance. Workspace access uses your ClickHouse's own users, so neither your team nor your end-users are billed as seats.
What does the Pro license include? Governance with alerts, Cluster Health, Query Insights, Schedules, query parameters with the saved-query Run API, GitHub sync, and SSO/OIDC — plus priority support. Everything else is free in the open-source core.
Does the license phone home? No — it's a signed file verified locally against a key embedded in the binary. Air-gapped environments work.
Is there a free trial of Pro? Yes — start a free 30-day trial self-serve: your trial license is emailed to you instantly, no card and no sales contact needed. Activate it in Settings → License of your instance. And the open-source core is free forever, so you can evaluate everything outside the Pro modules indefinitely.
How do I cancel or update billing? The license is an annual subscription via Stripe. Use Manage subscription to get a billing-portal link by email — cancel anytime and Pro keeps working until the end of the paid year.
